She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Victoria Velma Dumas Holden; her husbands, Robert Thornton and Lance Hatcher; her daughter Mayla Jane Thornton; her stepchildren, Durwood Hatcher, Gloria Colesworthy and Dona Snell; and her siblings, Pauline Boyett, Nancy Griffin, Laura Holden, Florence Lively, Irene Scharbor, Velma Stewart, Herbert Bates and Thomas Holden.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Thornton (Brenda) of Ft. Pierce, FL; her grandchildren, Betsy Malding (Mark) of Bentonville, AR and Jay Thornton of Melbourne Beach, FL; and her stepgrandchildren, Kyley Renfro of Hot Springs, Ashley Renfro of San Antonio, TX and Alison Stark (Michael) of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
