Patsy Shope Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patsy Shope of Smackover, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Patsy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Patsy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gray Ray and Gladys Cleo Cooper Ray. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Shope of Smackover; her son Lawrence "Chip" Shope, III (Melinda) of Texarkana, Texas.; her grandchildren, Amber Lewis (Nathan) of Tupelo, MS and Lawrence "Lee" Shope IV (Hollie) of Hattiesburg, MS; and her brother Dennis Ray (Rose) of Jacksonville, AR..
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Young's Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
