He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Paul Bristow and Minnie Louise Wildrick; his wife Arvie Jean Bristow; his brothers, Ray Bristow, Lewis Bristow, Frank Bristow, Roger Bristow and Stevie Bristow; his daughter Teresa Ann Bristow; and his sister Rose Marie Bristow.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Bristow (Laura) and Shannon Brown (Wayne); his siblings, Scotty Bristow (Ann), Thomas Bristow (Gerry), Truman Bristow and Charlotte Heller; and his grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Jordan, Kirk, Samantha, Lonnie, Matthew and Tara. He is also survived by twenty-six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church (113 S Main St, Strawberry, AR 72469). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
