Roy Lee Morgan Obituary

Roy Lee Morgan, 69, of Smithville, Arkansas passed away at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital on February 26, 2025. He was born on February 19, 1956 in Joiner, Arkansdas to Roy Morgan and Louella (Greene) Morgan. He enjoyed working on old cars, telling stories, fishing, listening to music, dancing, having bonfires, and spending time with his family. Roy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Survivors include; wife of 37 years: April Morgan of the home; six children: Billy Ray Morgan of Viola, Arkansas, Billie Gene "B.J." Morgan of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Shane Morgan (Pamela) of Paragould, Arkansas, Roy Lee Morgan (Kristina) of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Sara Morgan of. Au Gres, Michigan, Elizabeth Thieke (Cody) Port Huron, Michigan; twenty two grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one sister: Mary Lou (Morgan) Gentry of Batesville, Arkansas; three brothers: Clifton Morgan (Cindy) of Richmond, Michigan, James Morgan (Cindy) of Iowa, Kansas, Robert Morgan of Batesville, Arkansas; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents: Roy Morgan and Louella (Greene) Morgan; and one sister: Eva (Morgan) Tunstall.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Funeral Service in Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors from 9:00 a.m. until service time under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
