He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar Howell and Cordelia Polk Howell; and his sons, Forest Howell and William E. Howell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Barker Howell; and his children, Randy Howell (Rhonda), Tink Howell (Angela), Wesley Howell (Janie), David Howell (Renee) and Joy Rickett (Rodney). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel (1325 N Oak St, Morrilton, AR 72110). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Morrilton Christian Center (1212 W Childress St, Morrilton, AR 72110).
