He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hardbarger Jr. and Eliza Guyll Hardbarger; his siblings, George, Lois and Edith; and his wife Jane Foster.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Dorothy Whiteley; his daughter Laura Simmons (David); and his grandsons, Jeremy Seward of Anderson and Jason Seward (Nikki). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (3926 Willowood Ave, Springdale, AR 72762). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fayetteville National Cemetery (1000 S Lt Col Leroy Pond Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701).
