He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Lee Ross and Margie Howe Ross; his sons, William "Bill" Ross and Scott Ross; and his sister Glenda Standhart.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Ross; his children, Jeff Ross (Debbie) of Kerrville, Amy Johnson (Willis) of Alabama, Susan Gonyea (Rick) of Rockwall and Nancy Spivey (Jeff) of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Gordon Ross, Jr., Travis Nolan Ross (Melissa), Stephen Johnson, Elisabeth Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Tripp Gonyea, Scott Gonyea, Chase Duncan, Jadyn Spivey and Brady Spivey (Reed Spivey).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Temple Baptist Church (2987 Cambridge St, Springdale, AR 72764). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Temple Baptist Church to be used where there is need.
