She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Leonard Nichols, Jr. and Kathryn Virginia Nichols (Bishop); and her son Christopher. She is survived by: her significant other Cathy Montgomery; her aunts, Dorothy Mauney of Dumas, Arkansas and Lila Bishop Freeman of Dumas, Arkansas; and her cousin Mike Nichols.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Griffin Funeral Home (109 Brasfield St, Dumas, AR 71639). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 4:30 PM and on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:30 PM.
Linda had requested that memorials in her memory to be made to ASCAP, St Paul's Episcopal Church, 224 North East Avenue, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701 or to the Special Olympics.
