Though Peggy Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathen Edger Vernon and Pauline Vernon (Powers); her husband Frank Lee Ross; and her brother Ronnie Vernon. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Ross, Donald Dewayne Ross, Patricia Stephens and Frances McCutcheon; and her sister Mary Beth Martin. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home - Springdale (2230 N Thompson St, Springdale, AR 72764). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fayetteville National Cemetery (700 S Government Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701).
