It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Glines (Springdale, Arkansas), born in Carthage, Missouri, who passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid adieu to Richard's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Richard has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Glines and Francis Glines; his sisters, Mildred Wilson, Norma Taylor, Evelyn Kester and Peggy Sadler; and his son-in-law Fred Jack.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Evelyn Glines; and his children, Theresa Jack of Lowell, Greg Glines (Lois) of Springdale, Kimber Thompson (Sharon) of Springdale and Kirk Glines of Lowel. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

“I have tried several times to call Richard and kept getting messages that he was unavailable. . .Richard and I were close friends for many years. We had lunch regularly, gun shows, etc. even camped at Yellowstone/Grand Teton together.. I first became friends with him in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s. He was one of the best friends I ever had and it’s difficult to write this without tears. I was planning on visiting him soon, I regret I didn’t. His death saddens me very much. Harry Powers”
