He was predeceased by: his wife Margot Nelson. He is survived by: his children, James Alden of Pensacola, Florida, John Alden of Springdale, Arkansas, Tracy Nelson of Olympia, Washington and Kena Nelson of Fresno, California.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
