She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Smith and Mary Francis Smith; and her husband Joseph D. Higdon Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Quigley (Patrick) and Emily Collins (Joe); her siblings, Jennifer Yatcko, Susan Koonts (Clay), Christopher Smith (Linda) and David Smith (Theresa); her grandchildren, Dane Quigley (Lucy), Hannah Riggins (Granger), Hayley Quigley, Liam Collins and Lydia Collins; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor Quigley, Sedona and Selah Riggins.
