She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Smith and Minnie Whittle Smith; and her siblings, Delmar, Johnny, Freddie, Jack Smith, Louise Misner, Violet McGowan and Maxine Bookout.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jake" Stevens; her sons, Carl Stevens (Shelli) and James "Jimmy" Stevens (LaDonna); her siblings, Joe Smith and Marilyn Hale; and her grandson Chad Stevens. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
