She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Elwood and Eddie Pearl Elwood (Reynolds); her husband Dudley Winston; and her siblings, Blanch Tackett (Olive "Ollie"), Charlie Rogers (Dorothy Swindell), Hershall Rogers (Ruby King) and Mozell Hall (George).
She is survived by: her son Keith Winston (Leisa) of Aliso Viejo; her sister Faye Melton of Dallas; and her grandchildren, Shelby and Parker Winston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
