Jo Ann Gavin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jo Ann Gavin of Star City, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry David and Clara Swain Milburn. She is survived by: her close friend Rodney Henley of Star City; her children, Ray Gavin (Tonya) of Pansy and Robin Bray (Jimmy) of Hampton; her siblings, James Earl Dees of Hermitage, Jake Milburn of Hermitage and Eileen Leary of Florida; and her grandchildren, Charlye Redmond (Melinda), Madelyn Clark (Jeremiah), Hannah Black (Grant), Tyler Gavin and Olivia Gavin. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Prosperity Methodist Church (50 AR-11, Rison, AR 71665). A reception was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Prosperity United Methodist Church (50 AR-11, Rison, AR 71665).
