He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar and Inez Lain Wooley; his wife Betty Nell Terry Wooley; and his sisters, Nelda Pierce and Wilma Austin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vanessa Young (Terry) of Rye and Sherry Turner (Jimmy) of Woodlawn; his siblings, Lynn Wooley of Woodlawn and Joanne Dobbs (John) of Conway; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Turner, Ken Young (Shelley), Jennifer Dooly (Steve), Brandy Hodge (Cory), Janee Almand (Jody) and Jimmy Lee Turner. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Griffin Funeral Service (811 N Lincoln Ave, Star City, AR 71667). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (5590 US-63, Rison, AR 71665).
