He was predeceased by : his parents, Havis Burr and Lila Ferguson Burr; and his siblings, Havis Burr, Jr., Bonnie Kemp and Sue Level.

He is survived by : his children, John Burr (Shannon) of Star City, Chris Burr of Herbine and Michelle Hogg; and his grandchildren, Ryan Burr (Gentry Sanders), Jade Pruitt (David), Jon Brock (Matthew) and Cooper Burr.
