It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney Robert Owen of Star City, Arkansas, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Elzie E. Owen; his son Sidney Robert Owen, Jr.; and his siblings, Charles Owen, Will Owen and Betty J. Owen Buck.

He is survived by : his wife Lela Ann Conner Owen; his sons, Robert Mark Owen (Missy) of Star City and William "Billy" Ross Owen of Star City; his brother James Owen (Joyce) of Glendale; his grandchildren, Greg Sullivan of Tampa, FL, Jordan Scifres (Garrett) of Woodlawn, Taylor Jeffers (Garrett) of Star City, Marissa Owen of Star City, Chase Owen (Payton) of Star City, Anna Owen of Little Rock, Samuel Owen of Star City, Sierra Owen of Star City and Helen Owen of Star City; and his great grandchildren, Landree Sullivan of Woodlawn, Kendyll Scifres of Woodlawn, Kamryn Scifres of Woodlawn and Lottie June Jeffers of Star City.
