He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Nowlin (Irene) and Vernice Roberts Brotherton. He is survived by: his sister Mary Biswanger (Jerry); his stepsister Elizabeth Ward; and his half-sisters, Linda Trichell, Sharon Pierce and Teresa Edwards. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
