He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvel Watson and Ollie Watson (Ripka); his wife Sherron Watson; his son Donnie Wayne Watson; and his siblings, W. O. Watson, Tony Watson, Gene Watson, Mary Lee Watson, Dolly Schruntrub and Barbara Ann Watson.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Dunlap; his sister Genava Keck; and his grandchildren, Jessica Zink, Jennifer Granger and Wayne Smith.
