He was predeceased by: his parents, Ester Mae Smith and Booker T. Horner, Sr.; his stepfather Milton "Bip" Smith; his wife Annie Lee Horner; his daughter Cynthia Simmons; his siblings, Lillie Williams and Jimmy Lee Horner; his son Maurice Dabney; and his close friend Georgia Mae Nixon.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Darlene Timmon of Seattle, WA, Latricia Ballard of Seattle, WA, Andrea Williams of Seattle, WA, Larry Williams of Seattle, WA and Kenneth Dobbs of Seattle, WA; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Deidre Moore of Seattle, WA, Lashawnda Potts of Seattle, WA, Amber Ladd (Mychal) of Seattle, WA, Shemika Williams-Berry (Kendrick) of Seattle, WA, Marcelus Kemp (Shanise) of Seattle, WA, Randi Kemp of Seattle, WA, Kendra Bolden-Anderson (Jason) of Seattle, WA, Phylicia Mitchell of Seattle, WA, Imani Davis (Chris) of Seattle, WA and Derrick Dorsey of Seattle, WA; his son Ryan Watkins of Seattle, WA; his godchildren, Stacey Haynes (Jermaine Wiggins) of Stuttgart, AR and Vionna Small of Stuttgart, AR; his brother-in-law Josh Williams; and his close friends, Ricky McDowell, Stella Amos, Lillie Cracgett, Hope Watkins McKinley, Tommy Lester and Reverend C. Chatmon. He is also survived by sons, daughters, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Relerford Funeral Home (301 S College St, Stuttgart, AR 72160). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church (1209 Blue Rock Rd, Altheimer, AR 72004). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Lone Tree Cemetery Pavilion (1740 Hwy 79b, Stuttgart, AR 72160).
