He was predeceased by: his parents, Auburn Wood and Helen Wood; and his wife Lynn Wood. He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Faltemier of Brookings, SD and Patricia Baker (David) of Houston, TX; his children, Kyle Wood (Simone) of Hot Springs, AR, Amy Smith (Michael) of Stuttgart, AR and Matt Wood of Fayetteville, AR; his grandchildren, Taylor Wood, Kaylee Watson, Spencer Wood and Evan Watson; and his great grandchild River Barncastle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In honor/memory of David, donations can be made to the Museum of the Arkansas Grand Prairie or the music department of First Baptist Church, Stuttgart.
