She was predeceased by: her mother Viola Browning; her husband P. A. Shockley; her son Larry Walker; and her siblings, Oliver Browning, Estelle Callahan, Dorothy Jackson, Alma Jean Yarbrough and Everette Vaughn.
She is survived by: her daughter Meredith Lovett (Hal); her sisters, Twila Johnston and Mamie Whitmore; her grandchildren, Barrett Jackson (Sydney), Rachael Ferraro (Chris), Farris Jackson (Laura), Josh Walker and Madison Walker (Laura); her stepchildren, Tammy Smith (Terry), Dean Shockley (Julia), Lee Gill and Mike Gill; and her stepgrandson Zack Smith (Ashton). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews.
