He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joseph Heatherly and Flora Johnson Heatherly; his wife Syble Smith Heatherly of Little Rock; his daughter Kim Knoll of Little Rock; his grandsons, Shane Strabala of Little Rock and Drew Knoll (Samantha) of Little Rock; his great grandchild Adalie Crea Knoll of Little Rock; and his siblings, Nelda Craig of Texas and John Heatherly of Mississippi. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
His family requests memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Arkansas Children's Hospital.
