He was predeceased by: his parents, James McCarty and Grace McCarty of Stuttgart. He is survived by: his daughters, Shanna Reding (Brian) and Sandi McCarty; his granddaughter Lilly Rush of Greenwood; his sisters, Linda Ansel (George) of Benton and Charlotte Stauber of Stuttgart; his siblings' children, Alison Holmes of Largo, Maryland and Bert Stauber (Ashley) of Stuttgart; his great-nephew Aiden Holmes of Largo, Maryland; his great-nieces, Cheyenne and Callie Stauber of Stuttgart; and his uncle David McCarty of Humphrey. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the McConnell Funeral Home Chapel (137 N Main St, Greenwood, AR 72936). The military honors will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
