He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Bernard E. Stuckey and Coreain Garrison Stuckey; his grandparents, L. B., Pearl Gannon Stuckey, Henry Dayton and Dora Varner Garrison; his husband Jerry Matlock of Hot Springs, Arkansas.; his daughters, Rev. Elizabeth Stuckey Utley (Beth) of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Leanne Stuckey (Tammy Robert) of West Monroe, Louisiana and Karen Stuckey Merriott (Robert) of Alexander, Arkansas.; and his grandchildren, Dr. Adam Tabor Utley, Dr. Allie Elizabeth Utley, Hannah Allen Utley Speaks (Christopher), Emily Claire Utley (Zachary Wood) and Ashley Robert Sims (Obie). He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John E. Stuckey or Hazel Garrison Thatcher Scholarship funds.
