He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Maier Sr. and Murtie Mae Green Maier; his brother Johnnie Maier Jr.; and his sister-in-law Carolena Maier. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ann Maier; his children, Michael Sowell (Jessica) of Benton, Kenneth Ray Maier Jr. (Amanda) of Little Rock and Cindy Lawson of Roe; his grandchildren, Mallory Lawson Earvine (Dion), Stevan Sowell (Addie), Gavin Lawson, Madison Lawson, Garet Maier, Cameron Maier, Anna Kate Maier, Jacob Maier, Hunter Maier, Hunter Sowell, Selina Maier, Rachel Maier and Olivia Maier (Harlen Grady); and his great grandchildren, Maylen Earvine, Emi Jane Sowell, John B. Sowell, Halo Lawson and Adalynn Maier.
