She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Joseph and Addie Beatrice Owens; her husband Willis Dewayne Shelton; her sister Vester Butler; her cousin Sherry Thompson; and her granddaughter Jakera Shelton.
She is survived by: her children, Timmy, Gary, Derrik, Garrett Shelton (Keisha) and Shanna Renee Shelton; her sister Betty L. Johnson; her close friend Josephine Richardson; and her nieces, Nina Avery and Katherine Walker-Johnson. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, many other relatives, saints and friends.
