Marilyn Rose Cox Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2025, at the age of 85, Marilyn Rose Cox of Stuttgart, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee O. Shirkey and Edna Rose Shirkey; and her sister Kerry McCune (Byram). She is survived by: her husband Glenn "Sonny" Cox of Stuttgart; her daughters, Kristi Cox of Stuttgart and Marci Miller (Jeff) of Springdale; her grandchildren, Olivia Larson of Springdale and Rally Miller of Dallas, Texas.; and her siblings, Pat Mahl, Carolyn Dodson, Butch Shirkey (Kathleen) of Caswell Beach, NC and Mike Shirkey of Fayetteville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Emanuel Lutheran Church (209 S Grand Ave, Stuttgart, AR 72160). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
