He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Elmer Erstine and Lois Katherine Lange Erstine; his grandparents, Frank, Emily Mae Erstine, William and Katherine Lange; and his pets, Muggins, Sundowner, Shadow, Sparky, Buddy, Lucky, Benjamin Taylor, Fancy, Roxy and Cami.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Erstine; his children, Dr. Byron Erstine and Dr. Emily Erstine (John Gonzalez); his grandsons, Xavier Gonzalez Erstine, Wolfgang Gonzalez Erstine and Sebastian Gonzalez Erstine; his brother Bill Erstine (Barbara); and his nieces, Sarah and Amy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Pine Bluff (807 S Cherry St, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (412 W 6th Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71601).
