Verna Lea Bluhm Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Lea Bluhm of Stuttgart, Arkansas, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nelson and Lula Carnes Rogers; her husband Donover Bluhm; her daughter Vicki Bull; her great grandchild Duke Elliot Johnson; and her sisters, Donna Marie Bluhm (Orville), Virgie Ruth Lefler (Douglas) and Bona Jean Bauman (Robert).
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Johnson (Wayne) of Benton and Brenda Wilhite (Randy) of Stuttgart; her son-in-law Milton Bull of Conway; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Goudy (Stuart), Brad Johnson (Hannah), Amy Manning (David), Jonathan Bull (Leah), Ryan Wilhite (Traci) and Katie Brewer (Russ). She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2115 S Prairie St, Stuttgart, AR 72160). Her resilience was unmatched-she survived two bouts with COVID-19, a testament to her enduring strength and spirit.
Verna requested that memorials be made to First Baptist Church or The Lighthouse Church of Stuttgart.
