He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Shrum and Maranda Katherine Austin Shrum; and his brothers, Randy Clay Shrum and Rodger Carol Shrum. He is survived by: his niece Melissa Shrum Spence (Jeff); his great-nephew Moss Spence; his daughter LaTaaka Harvey; his grandchild Davian; his close friend Melody Stackhouse; and his cousins, Etta Cunningham, Kelly, Tonya Austin, Bonnie Matthews, Becky Stubblefield and Glenn Mosenthin.
He was a member of Stuttgart RSVP, Grand Prairie Historical Society and Arkansas Historical Society where he was an officer.
