He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frank Sherley and Dora Ann Cottrell Sherley. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Alice Sherley (Waits); his daughters, Dawn Moody (Steve) of Sulphur Rock and Beth Rouse (Burnis) of Georgetown; and his grandchildren, Kit Horton, April Ward, Whitney Cupples (Lex), Burnis Rouse, Jr. (Breanna), Blake Rouse (Makenzie) and Forrest Rouse (Sydney). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
