She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Jackson and Lula Mae Jackson (Nugent); her husband Clyde Burge; and her children, Alvin Prince, Dale Burge and Clydene Burge Weaver.

She is survived by: her daughter Mildred Prince of Jonesboro. She is also survived by several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; her great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
