He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyce Lee "Blackie" and Lola C. Gilmore (Rogers). He is survived by: his daughters, Cali Gilmore Green (B. J.) of Swifton and Caitlin Gilmore; his grandchildren, Clara, Lola Faye, Jack, Maverick and Hazel; and his wife Nancy Gilmore (Guthrie). He is also survived by his siblings; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
