In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Freddy Gerald had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Freddy Gerald may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Tarver and Rosa Tarver; his wife Lillie Mae Tarver; his sons, Harold David McDonald and Bobby Joe McDonald; and his sisters, Iona Tarver Lane, Margaret Tarver Loudamy, Bonnie Tarver Lucas and Shirley Tarver Norstrum.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Diane Stevens of Claremore and Dorothy Fay McDonald of Branson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the A. O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel (111 N Hays Ave, Taylor, AR 71861). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Welcome Cemetery.
