He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin "Shotgun" Watson and Clara Watson; his grandparents, J. T. "John", Jessie Watson, Roy and Bessie Mayfield; and his brother James Watson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Martha Kelley of Waldo, Sherry Youngblood of Dubberly, Jerry Vaughn of Springhill, Louisiana, Talmadge Watson of Waldo, Elbert Watson of Lake Erling and Bill Watson of Taylor, Arkansas; and his aunts, Liz Grubb of Ruston and Doris Hayden of Taylor, Arkansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
