She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Herbert Gessner and Mable Gessner; her sister Marilyn Mitchell; her son James "Jimmy" Kowzic; and her pets, Happy, Lele and Prince.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Peter Kowzic; her children, Helen Santos, Julie Doane (Kevin Doane) and Stanley Kowzic (Shandi Kowzic); her grandchildren, Sarah, Greg, Abigail, Eddy, James, Katherine, Briana, Kason, Kloe and Maddox; and her niece Marty Lynch.
Instead of flowers, her family is asking for donations to Runnin WJ Ranch in Alice's Honor.
