She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pitts and Maurice Pitts; and her husband Reverend William V. Garner. She is survived by: her children, Bruce A. Garner, Sr. of Texarkana, TX, Cyndy K. Haydon (Billy) of Sand Springs, OK, Curtis W. Garner of Texarkana, TX and Connie L. Holder (David) of Atlanta, TX. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Texarkana Funeral Home (4801 Parkway Dr, Texarkana, AR 71854). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (3900 Union Rd, Texarkana, AR 71854).
