She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Alvin Young and Margie Faye Crabtree; her son Aaron Brown; and her sister Monica Hankins. She is survived by: her pet Sophie; her daughter Daire; her son-in-law Michael Smith of Hooks, Texas; her sisters, Pamela Allen of Lone Oak, Marilyn (Paul Hillis) and Leslie (Barry Birdwell); her grandchildren, Kynlee, Brynlee and Hannah Smith; and her close friend Sophie. She is also survived by many other relatives, friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bates Family Funeral Home (601 E Front St, De Kalb, TX 75559).
