He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arvel McDaniel, Ruby Trichell McDaniel, James Warren Hudson Sr. and Joy Thorton; and his aunts and uncles, Jean Easom Duffey, Billie Ruth Easom Tillman, Danny Trichell and Jeffrey Scott Hudson.

He is survived by: his daughter Mataya Hudson; his parents, James Warren Hudson Jr. and Rhonda McDaniel Hudson; his siblings, Joshua Young, Seth Hudson, Brandon Hudson, Michelle Young Keahey, Ashlyn Hudson and Megan Hudson Dorsett; his nephew Jacob Young; and his nieces, Ashlyn Young, Megan Nicholas, Savannah Humphrey, Emily Massey, Madison Young and Hailee Young. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Life House Church (1102 Maywood Dr, Texarkana, AR 71854). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Chapelwood Memorial Gardens (1001 N Kings Hwy, Texarkana, TX 75501).
