With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Alice Green (Texarkana, Arkansas), who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orble Adams-Sexton and Louise Adams-Sexton (Robertson); her husband Troy Green; her daughter Sharon Bishop; her grandsons, Billy Joseph and James Troy; and her brother Louis Adams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie (Bill Brian) and Susan (Robert Howell) of Texarkana, AR; her grandchildren, Jason Brian (Angie) of Destrehan, LA, Taylor Bishop, Tanner Bishop of Tulsa, OK, Malcolm Hunter of Texarkana, AR, Alli Nevels (Ryan) of Texarkana, AR and Dakota Stanley of Texarkana, AR; her great grandchildren, Gunnar, Natalee, Cutter, Jackson and Nicolas; her siblings, Olen Adams (Joyce) and Jennifer Kidd (Mark) of Fayetteville, AR; her sister-in-law Nancy Adams Eatman (John); her nephew Noel Adams; and her close friends, Carolyn Greenwood, Joyce Fulmer and Dorothy Morgan.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Texarkana Funeral Home (4801 Parkway Dr, Texarkana, AR 71854). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beech Street Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
