He was predeceased by: his mother Wilma Hickmott; his stepfather Donald Hickmott; his father Thomas David Brooks; and his wife Elaine Brooks. He is survived by: his sisters, Rhonda Moore (Walter "Boo" Moore) and Trudy Hickmott; and his children, Kristy White, Channon Dodson (Brett), Gina Flickinger (Kevin), Donnie Huggins (Michael), Thomas Brooks Jr. and Robert Brooks (Robyn). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
