She was predeceased by: her parents, Era Preston Benson and Julia Rae Paulman Benson; her husband Max York; and her daughter Kathy Resendiz. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Cummings of Little Rock; her brother Jerry Joe Benson of Huttig; and her grandchildren, Max Hillman, Bradley Hillman of Hot Springs and Angela Hatridge of Camden. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
