He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Adam and Della Mae Burton Murphree; and his siblings, Glen, Jessie, James, Richard Murphree, Mary Haugenter and Jenny Vee Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Johnson Murphree of Tillar; his brother Lynn Murphree (Vera Ann) of Tillar; his daughters, Allison Harrison Lockwood (Jacob) of Crossett, Arkansas. and Anna Beth Harrison Walley (Cody) of Crossett, Arkansas.; and his grandchildren, Layton Walley of Crossett, Eli Walley of Crossett and Charlee Jo Lockwood of Crossett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service (101 N 2nd St, McGehee, AR 71654). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Tillar Cemetery.
