He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Long and Beatrice Williams Long; and his brother Robert Ray Long. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brock Long of Tillar; his children, Charles Long (Michelle) of Jonesboro and Renee Fortenberry (Bub) of Tillar; his sister Bobbie Jean West of Conway; his grandchildren, Matthew, Mallory, Brock, Anna Grace, Eliza and Charlie; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Carlee, Bryn, Nora and Eden.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Griffin Funeral Home (109 Brasfield St, Dumas, AR 71639).
