He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman J. Higdon and Wanda Roarke Higdon; his brother Jerry Lee Higdon; and his granddaughter Sydney White. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Wright Higdon; his children, Stephanie McKinley, Terry M. Higdon, Rebecca Hogue (Kass) and Sonja Reed (Josh); his grandchildren, Ricky Nooner, Patrick Nooner (Kailey), Tammy Johnson, Andrew Tucker, Sabra Tucker, Austin Paul (Kennedy Goodnight), Carson Reed and Logan Reed; his great grandchildren, Charlee Rose Higdon, Shelby Nooner, Genesis Green, Kayden Welch and Kennedy Arzt; and his brother Phil Higdon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Smith Benton Funeral Home (322 N Market St, Benton, AR 72015).
