Brenda Joyce Whitman Obituary

Brenda Joyce Whitman, age 74, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away on June 13, 2026 at her home. She was born on February 16, 1952 in Joiner, Arkansas to Ford and Mary (Stewart) Haygood. Brenda was a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Trumann, Arkansas. She enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her husband Benton, going to flea markets, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include; husband: Benton Whitman of the home; two daughters: Bridgett Johnson (Danny) of Proctor, Arkansas and Brandy Andrew (Danny) of Trumann, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Wesley Andrew, Benton Stallings, Autumn McKenzie (R.J.), Sara Fields (Deitrich), Elsie Grace Hudson (K.J.); nine great grandchildren: Aleeyah Andrew, Emma Mae Andrew, Rosalie McKenzie, Easton Andrew, Wesley Andrew, Gabriel McKenzie, Ezra Fields, Evelyn McKenzie, Miracle Andrew; five brothers: Earl Haygood, Mearl Haygood, Mark Haygood, David Haygood, Larry Haygood; three sisters: Linda Long, Connie Ward, Suzanne Haygood; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by; her parents: Ford and Mary (Stewart) Haygood; one grandson: Jacob Andrew; one granddaughter: Naomi Andrew; and three brothers: Ronnie Haygood, Ricky Haygood, Gerald Haygood.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Providence Baptist Church in Trumann, Arkansas with pastor Bobby Brooks officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Per the family's wishes interment will be private under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
