Johnny Carl Barnes Sr. Obituary

Ohnny Carl Barnes, Sr., of Trumann, Arkansas passed away from this life on Friday, July 24, 2026. He was born on March 5, 1954, to Joseph and Mary Barnes. Johnny was a preacher and loved getting to spread the word to others. He also loved going to the lake, camping and spending time outdoors. When he wasn't at the lake or camping Johnny could be found on a cruise ship with his brother. They enjoyed spending time together. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Nan of 53 years; sons, Johnny Carl, Jr., Johnny Carl III, Ozzy, Barnes, Joseph, Noah; daughters, Tracy (John Fisher), Amanda, Nita Cunningham, Shytara, Sonia, Tonia; sisters, Sue Carter, Wanda Hosley, Kay Rogers, Francis Battles; grandchildren, Robert (Dakota), Robin, Dakota, Ryan, Virgil, Zari, Daniel, Jackson, Jaden, Zander, Dustin and Brooklynn, and a host of other family.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed, Jerry; sisters, Lucille, Martha, Glenda, Lola, Betty, Molly; granddaughters, Nevaeh, and Sonia Chyann; great grandson, Zander.

The family will announce a memorial service at a later date.
