Lorenda Meridith Obituary

Lorenda M. Meridith, 83, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away at Quail Run River and Rehabilitation on August 27, 2025. She was born on April 8, 1942 in Evening Shade, Arkansas to Eldon and Christine (Smalley) Qualls. Lorenda was a member of the United Methodist Church in Trumann, Arkansas. She enjoyed fishing, camping, going to yard sales, and spending time with family but especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include; one son: Eddie Weems of Trumann, Arkansas; one daughter: Melissa Allen (Johnny Allen) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Latisha Weems, Hannah Weems, Gage Allen, Dakota Allen; four great grandchildren: Adeline Carter, Willow Estes, Keegan Garrison, Koa Allen; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by; her parents: Elson and Christine (Smalley) Qualls; and seven siblings: Verneil Qualls Goodman, Buddy Qualls, Frank Qualls, William "Bill" Qualls, Dane "Buck" Qualls, Jackie Scalph, Rita Qualls Hickman.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Trumann, Arkansas.
